Security at Home X Base

Your home file can contain personal records, receipts, warranties, and photos. We build Home X Base around that sensitivity and limit access to the people and services needed to operate the product.

Protected while it moves

Data sent between your device and Home X Base is encrypted in transit. Sign-in sessions are stored using secure device storage provided by the operating system.

Per-user access controls

Your records are restricted to your account through per-user database and storage access rules. Home X Base uses Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and file storage, with access checks applied to requests for your home data.

Optional AI processing

AI scans only run when you choose to use them. The selected photo or text is sent to the relevant provider to extract details, and you review the result before it is saved. You can enter the same information manually without using an AI scan. See our Privacy Policy for the current provider list and processing details.

Your control and deletion

You can permanently delete your account and its associated records from the app. You can also request deletion by emailing hello@homexbase.com. Home X Base does not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Report a security concern

If you believe you found a security issue, email hello@homexbase.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please do not include another person's data or publicly disclose an unresolved issue.
